He added that he is proud to work to transform Ontario's gaming and entertainment industry as a chosen employer.

In this year's top employer rankings, Crown Corporation ranked 41st out of 300 companies included in Forbes' rankings. This means that this year's OLG has risen 12 places and is also second in the category. Meanwhile, Marriott International, a major hospitality company, topped the list.

Esther Zdolek, senior vice president of People and Culture at OLG, said making the list means a lot more to the company because OLG is fully staff-led and shows how proud OLG people are to work for Crown. He noted that the company's employees are committed to doing good for the province, supporting and valuing their colleagues and celebrating diverse perspectives and backgrounds.

Over the past few weeks, OLG has made several important announcements regarding its activities. This month, Crown Corp. sent quarterly gaming revenue payments to 29 casino host communities in the province. The City of Toronto was also one of the hosts of Casino Woodbine, with its coffers set to rise to C$6.3 million in the third quarter of 2022-2023.

Shortly thereafter, the OLG also announced this week that Crown Agency had a multi-year contract extension with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment.
